Juan Martin Ramos

Juan Martin Ramos entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at a hospice center in Portland, Texas, at the age of 62. He was born May 8, 1964, in Falfurrias, Texas, to Guadalupe Ramos and Adela Soliz Ramos.

Juan worked for many years as a laborer and was truly a jack of all trades. There was very little he couldn’t figure out or accomplish when he put his mind to it. He had a silly personality and was never afraid to share his opinion. He spoke his mind without a filter and could always bring his own unique personality to any conversation. He also enjoyed barbecuing with a Natural Light in hand, surrounded by family and friends, rooster fighting, and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Adela Ramos; his son, Gabriel Cervantes; his brothers, Israel and Reymundo Ramos; and his sisters, Simona Ramos, Hermelinda Longoria, Rosalinda Ramos, and Dora Martinez.

Juan is survived by his three sons, Guadalupe Rene (April) Cervantes of Premont, Texas; Juan Jose (D’Nora Esquivel) Cervantes of Falfurrias, Texas; and Javier Cervantes of Galveston, Texas; his brother, Pedro (Belen) Ramos of Falfurrias; his sister, Rosario Ramos of Falfurrias; nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
