Juanita Mireles entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at her residence in Concepcion, Texas at the age of 85. She was born on July 22, 1938 to Antonio Sanchez and Leonor Gonzalez Sanchez in La Copita, Texas. Juanita was a hard worker her entire life. She worked the fields all over the US and dairy farms. She would also volunteer her time with Duval County during the elections.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Gabriel Mireles.
Juanita leaves behind to cherish her memories her brother, Lupe (Emma) Sanchez of Edcouch-Elsa, Texas; sister, Ofelia Sanchez Lemus and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias and services will conclude with Burial at the Arevalo Cemetery in La Parita.
