Judy Vela

Judy Vela passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 67. She was born on February 4, 1956 to Raul Rivera and Viviana Ruiz Rivera in Falfurrias, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rey Rivera.

Judy leaves behind many fond memories that will forever be treasured by her husband, Ricardo Vela of Corpus Christi; children, Leroy (Maricela) Gonzalez of Hebbronville, Texas, Randy (Rose) Gonzalez of Benavides, Texas, Mario (Riza) Gonzalez of Hebbronville, Rudy Gonzalez, Jr. of Riviera, Texas, Jason Vela of Hebbronville, Virginia (Felix) Vela-Hernandez of Corpus Christi and Valerie (Franz Puyol) Vela of Alice, Texas; many brothers and sisters and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 8:00 a.m.
