Kenneth E. Corse

Kenneth E. “KC” Corse peacefully passed from this life into Heaven on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the age of 78. He was surrounded by his loving family at his home in Falfurrias, Texas. Kenneth was born on August 21, 1939 to George Frank Corse and Nellie Mae Woodruff Corse in Laredo, Texas. Kenneth worked as a United States Border Patrol Agent for 10 years in California and 20 years in Falfurrias. At his retirement, Kenneth held the rank of GS-14 Supervisor in Charge. Kenneth loved to spend time watching and caring for his cattle, sitting at coffee shops and watching people come in and out of town from different areas of the country.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents and his three sisters.

He is survived by his wife of over 57 years, Maria “Josie” Corse of Falfurrias; son, George Frank (Lori T.) Corse of George West, Texas ; two daughters, Mona Kay Corse of Flower Mound, Texas and Brenna Mae (Rusty) Redding of Three Rivers, Texas; five grandchildren, Kayley L. (Bradley) Raley, Lindsay K. (Charlie) Armstrong, Noah S. (Hayley) Corse, Courtney Laine Sowell and Quinlyn Marie Sowell and two great-grandchildren, Nealson M. Armstrong and Mason L. Armstrong.

Appreciation is expressed to all the Corse neighbors in Falfurrias, the First Baptist Church of Premont, the nursing staff of Nurses on Wheels and First Home Health and the US Border Patrol for the support and care given to the family throughout the years, especially during this most difficult time of loss.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Pastor Rick Rice presiding. Burial will follow at the Perez Ranch Cemetery in Bruni, Texas.
