I knew Leo from working together at Peterson Brothers Steel Erection. We built skyscrapers in Houston. Always the hard working dude, always there, dependable.
There were a few occasions of shooting pool at Moms bar in Podunk, having beers and just hanging. Leo was a true gentleman as I remember him. That was in the late 70’s and I lost track of him.
I think he led a full life as he wanted from what I heard. Now God has him to hang with🙏🏻❤️

  When I was a little girl you use to grab me and kiss me a bunch of times on the cheeck and I'd say, "Stop it! Your beard itches!"  And you'd do it over and over while laughing to irritate me. What i wouldn't do to get those kisses one more time. I don't have enough words to say how much you mean to me. You were a father figure to me. I will always love you for ever and ever and you will always be in my heart

   It feels like yesterday that you walked up on the derrick floor and I said high to stopped the load and you being the kind of person you are replied hi to me. I know that I just stared at you but I never tired of hearing you tell that story It is with a heavy heart that I say good by old friend and wish I could hear the many stories that you had to share .

I will never forget how thoughtful and kind Leo was to me. We both share birthdays in the month of December and he would always call or email me for mine. So I would do the same on his birthday and he would always say..."Hey, Where's my bonus?  I didn't get my bonus yet."  I always promised him that it was on the way. Well my friend finally received His bonus...A Divine Healing.

Family has always come first for me, but Leo is one of the people who made my work so enjoyable that it always felt, to me, like an extension of my family. I'll miss you, Leo, but will be with you again sooner or later. Thanks for the great memories over our forty years working together. Tio Leo, 
     I’m deeply saddened that you are no longer here, but I know that you are in a much better place than the rest of us, a place with no suffering, no pain, no tears. You were a really good uncle, and I’ll never forget what you did for me and my siblings when my daddy passed away. We will always have great love and respect in our hearts for you. You will always be missed and never be forgotten.  

I remember when Leo first got his brand new truck my dad helped build for him he was really happy. He was a sweet man and would always come hug me, my mom and my sister. 

I will forever be grateful & honored to have met you and be a part of your family. You were always so kind, loving and sweet with me. From the 1st day I met you, you always made me feel like family.  Thank you for sharing your family with me.  I couldn't be any more proud to be your daughter-in-law!  You will be dearly missed.

Aww Leo , what can I say ?  You know you will surely be missed at Johnny's Mama's house . You were like my own . Always stopping by when in the area . Even bringing tamales at Christmas time . I hope you know that I love you . That I will miss you ,that I thought you were a true friend ,not only to Johnny ,but to me as well . Rest well my friend . Thanks for the memories . 

Leo Garcia Sr. You were a great friend, brother and familia to us, we will greatly miss you and your spirit of leadership, guidance, jokes and most of all your friendship. My family and I have not stop thinking of you and the last conversations we had just a few weeks ago. You were like an uncle to me and my kids and wife and my parents always asked about you and loved talking with you. Leo was a great friend ,my brother by choice ,he lead me a stray ,and then would lead me back ,all the great times we shared will never be forgotten ,leo will be missed and will live on in my heart and will always be present in my thoughts and prayers , i love  ya brother and will do my best to help and watch after mrs gracie ,R .I.
