Flores, Morales, Vela, and Alvarez families,

I apologize for my delay in sending you my heartfelt condolences for Letty’s passing. I remember the times, during the early to mid 1980s when Letty would host Bible studies at her home or at her trailer. I truly enjoyed those meetings and I learned a lot, especially about God's mercy. I knew Letty was my tough and smart football teammate sister’s (Rey or Ray), but I had never really interacted with her. I can truly say that she, along with my mother Leonor, made a big difference in my life. She/they showed “The Way, The Truth and The Light”. I am still a sinner, but I am trying to best to change for the better. Gracias por todo (thanks for everything) Letty. RIP my friend. Hope to see you in heaven.

I am also sending my heartfelt condolences for your parents' and Noela’s passing, also. I did not know that Noela had also passed away. ✝️💐🛐📿

Respectfully,

David O. Ramirez

The news of Letty passing away truly saddened me.
I will always cherish the fact that Letty was a great baker and when I got married she agreed to make the groomsman cake, she was so happy to be able to help out in that way. She was a true friend to our family. The many memories we have of her are beautiful and treasured.
You will be greatly missed... ❤️

I am so sorry to hear of Letty’s passing. I have very fond memories of Letty—her bubbly laughter, our discussions during our Rainbow Connection meetings, our trips to Laredo in the van to visit Cursillistas, and lots of singing together while Letty strummed on her guitar. May she continue to sing with the angels! My deepest condolences to the family.

I'm sorry to hear Letty has passed away. She was the Rainbow Connection leader when I was in high school, and of course she was essentially the ring leader the night we snuck out of the house to serenade our moms. She also had a big heart. After our house burned one Christmas night, Letty was right there first thing in the morning helping clear the heaps of smoke and fire- damaged rubble. I will perhaps remember her more for her laugh. She had such a good sense of humor. With all these sweet memories of Letty in mind, I send my love and condolences to the family.

I'll always remember that Letty was a very good friend to my mother and to my family. She was the person that orchestrated the serenades to the mother's one Mother's Day that had all my sisters sneaking out of the house one night scaring my mother half to death. It was a funny story. I will always remember thinking that she was the most creative baker I'd ever met. I remember walking in to her house and it was like Mrs. Claus's bakery. She had so many delicious treats being baked all at once and they were all made so perfectly. I have no doubt in my mind that my mother told you to join her in heaven.
