Leticia Herrera entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, at the age of 65. She was born on January 25, 1961 in Falfurrias, Texas to Adolfo Serna Jr. and San Juanita G. Serna.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Adolfo Serna III and Juan Manuel Serna.
Leticia leaves behind many precious memories that will forever be treasured by her husband, Mario Herrera; son, Arnulfo Cantu Jr.; daughters, Melissa Cantu, and Pamela (Arnold) Ramirez all of Hebbronville, Texas, and Laura (Homer) Utley of Kingsville, Texas; sisters, Marta Alicia (Ernesto) Garza and Rosa Maria (Venancio) both of Zapata, Texas; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.
Pallbearers will be Juan Arnulfo Jimenez, Javier Angel Jimenez, Jesus Ademan Jimenez, Homer Utley Jr., Arnold Ramirez, and Homer Utley III.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 3, 2026 beginning at 8:30 a.m. with a Chapel Service at 2:30 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Interment will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
