

Luciano was a hard worker who always provided for his family. He worked most of his life as a ranch hand in Falfurrias, Texas and the surrounding areas. He enjoyed being outdoors and hunting, and he loved socializing with family and friends as well as making new friends and acquaintances.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Celia Buenrostro Peña; his daughter, Herlinda Peña Villarreal; his two sisters, Blanca Peña and Delfina Peña; three brothers, Medardo “Mel” Peña, Jose Noe G. Peña, and Hector G. Peña, and his parents.
Luciano is survived by his daughter Jo Ann Shuck and her husband Leigh Antony of Falfurrias, Texas; six siblings, brothers are Jose Angel Peña and his wife Anselma of Premont, Texas; Pedro Peña Jr. and his wife Mary of Houston, Texas; Baldemar Peña and his late wife Esperanza of Premont, Texas, and Rodolfo Peña of Santa Ana, California, and two sisters: Alicia Peña of Premont, Texas and Elida Berry of San Antonio, Texas.
A Holy Rosary will be recited on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias, Texas. The Celebration of Luciano G. Peña’s Life ceremony will follow after the rosary services.
