Lydia G. Mendoza passed away peacefully on Monday, January 12, 2026 at an Alice hospital at the age of 65. She was born on October 22, 1960 in Hebbronville, Texas to Juan Antonio Guerrero and Elena Alarcon Guerrero.
Lydia is preceded in death by her father; sister, Melisa D. Flores and brother in law, Michael Cory Thompson.
She leaves behind many precious members that will forever be treasured by her husband, Victor Mendoza; mother, Elena A. Guerrero; sister, Ana Thompson; brother in law, Juan E. Flores all of Hebbronville; brothers, Jaime (Alexa) Martinez of San Antonio and Javier (Candie) Martinez of Hebbronville; nephew Jace Martinez, niece Nichole Rivera and nephew Alex Rivera
Visitation will be on Saturday, January 24, 2026 starting at 8:30 a.m. with Holy Rosary to be prayed at 9:30 a.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
