Margarito N. Lopez

Margarito N. Lopez was born on November 17, 1918 in Concepcion, Texas. He passed away on October 17, 2014 in Laredo, Texas at 95 years of age. He is survived by his son Regino A. (Alicia) Lopez of Laredo, TX and Margarito Roberto Lopez of Oilton, TX. Grandchildren Christy (Miguel ) Rodriguez and Reggie Lopez and great-grand child Aiden A. Rodriguez of Laredo also surviving his brother Presciliano Lopez of Laredo, TX and a sister Guadalupe Rodriguez of Mirando City, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents Regino and Julia N. Lopez, by his loving wife Isabel M. Lopez, brothers Nicolas, Manuel, Anastacio, Jesus and sisters Maria and Aurora Benavides . Margarito was a hardworking ranch hand and also a licensed peyote dealer with his late wife. He found joy spending his time outdoors and in company of his family and friends. Margarito will be greatly missed by all that knew him. He truly had a heart of gold. Pallbearers will be the following: Regino A. Lopez, Reggie Lopez , Rodolfo Rodriguez, Miguel A. Rodriguez, Oscar Rodriguez, and Manuel Lopez. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday October 21, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams and leave in a procession at 9:15 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bridget's Catholic Church of Oilton. Burial will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery of Mirando City, TX.
