My dear friend Lupita always had a way with words. Ran into her at HEB of course, a few months ago visiting family. She of course asked for my husband Juan. I told her he was great and she popped off with: (It took a classmate from Class of 84 to straighten him out. ). She had me laughing so hard I was crying. I’m surely gonna miss her dearly. Rest easy my friend. Till we meet again.

Lupita was a wonderful and beautiful person. Yes we were related but she was also a friend. Every time I was at HEB and she was my cashier we were always laughing and I left with a big smile. Her sense of humor was amazing and I’ll miss that the most and I know my son will miss playing with her when we go there as well. I will continue to pray for Ruben and the kids while they go through this difficult time.
Rest easy now Lups you will forever be missed.
