Maria L. Garibay

Maria L. Garibay entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at a hospital in Alice, Texas at the age of 85. She was born on November 23, 1932 to Jesus Lopez and Nicolas Del Bosque Lopez in Benavides, Texas.

Maria is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Enrique "Henry" Garibay; siblings, Enrique and Juan Lopez, Ascencion "Chonita" Guerra, Isabel K. Barns and Eloisa Aleman; daughter in law, Lucille Garibay. Maria leaves behind to cherish her wonderful memories her children, Joe A. Garibay of Houston, TX. and Rosa Linda Garibay of Hebbronville, TX.; brothers, Roberto Lopez of New Orleans, LA, Jesus Lopez of San Diego, CA., Dr. Ramiro Lopez of New Orleans, LA. and Dr. Rogelio Del Bosque of San Antonio, TX.; sisters, Manuelita Acevedo of Garland, TX. and Juanita Ramirez of Channelview of TX.; 3 grandchildren, Abigail (Tim) Garibay, Jacob Garibay and Johnathan Garibay; several nieces and nephews

Holy rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church

Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery
