Maria “Patty” Zapata Narvaez passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 51 in the presence of her family. She was born on October 29, 1962 to Seferino Zapata and Julia Segovia in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Patty worked as a Home Provider for many years. She was an outdoorsy kind of person who loved to spend her time gardening, fishing and hunting. She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Maria Narvaez and her grandmother, Guadalupe A. Garcia. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her two sons, Roberto Narvaez, Jr. and Ricardo Narvaez both of Carrizo Springs, Texas; her daughter, Robbie Narvaez of Falfurrias, Texas; her companion, Horacio Phillips, Jr. of Falfurrias and many extended family members who all loved her very much.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.
