Maria Santos Villa 92, passed away Thursday February 27, 2014 at a Corpus Christi Hospital. She was born March 25, 1921 to Ramon and Irene Hernandez in the city of Falfurrias, TX. Maria was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arturo Villa, and a son Arturo Villa Jr. Maria is survived by her three daughters Berta (Raul) Mireles of Corpus Christi, TX, Beatrice Villa of Sandy, UT, and Viola (Roger Rice) Benavidez-Rice of Corpus Christi, TX. A daughter in law Leticia M. Villa of Portland, TX. Also surviving her are eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. Monday March 3, 2014 with a Rosary being recited at 9:00 a.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams. Funeral mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
