Maria "Mary" Estela Zamora

March 24, 1957May 9, 2020

Maria “Mary” Estela Zamora entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 63. She was born on March 24, 1957 to Gilberto G. Saenz and Aminta Chapa Saenz in Sinton, Texas. Mary worked as an Insurance Agent for many years. She also loved to cook and bake. In her spare time, she would make goodie baskets with baked goods to sell to the community for special occasions. Mary was a devoted believer of the Lord and had great faith. She was an avid member of her church.

Mary was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by the Lord and was reunited with her nephew, Benito “Jay” Gutierrez, Jr. and her niece, Irma Linda Gutierrez.

She is survived by her husband, Florentino Zamora; daughter, Rita Mayela Zamora; son, Fabian Zamora all of Falfurrias; parents, Gilberto and Aminta Saenz of Falfurrias; four sisters, Soila Nethery of San Antonio, Texas, Edna Gloria (William) Spurgeon of Odem, Texas, Elsa (Emede, Jr.) Canales and Anita (Damien) Carvalho both of Corpus Christi and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

Mary worked for my dad in our hydroponics tomato house and then raised my two kids, while I worked, with help from Welo and Wela. I can hear her contagious laugh and she will truly be missed❤️. May she Rest In Peace.
