Marian Y. Huff

Marian Yaeger Huff, age 88, passed away on May 27, 2012 in Hebbronville, TX. She was born on September 20, 1923 in Laredo, TX. Marian was preceded in death by her husband, Chester H. Huff; brother, Robert Roy (Bobby) Yaeger, Jr., and her parents Clara Dannelley Yaeger and Robert Roy Yaeger. Her family background dates back to that of pioneer families.

Marian and her late husband Chester, served God with a passion to share and spread the word. She loved her family, home, and plants.

Marian is survived by her son Christopher (Julia) Huff of Hebbronville, TX, her daughter Nanette (David) Bigelow, of Kingsville, TX, her sister Josephine (Robert) Morris, of Hebbronville/Corpus Christi, TX, sister-in-law Marion H. Hoff, of LaPorte, TX, five grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also a special part of Marian's life was Juana Garcia, friend and care-giver.

Pallbearers: Mark Hoff, Greg Hoff, Sky Huff, David Morris, Roy Yaeger, and Bill Barfield. Honorary pallbearers: Frank Armstrong, Gilbert Troell, Bobby Fulbright, Clark Rossi, Isidro Gutierrez, Jerry Collinsworth, Joe Lopez, and Johnny Rivera.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 4, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville,TX. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Hebbronville, TX. Burial will follow at the Greenhill Cemetery.
