Marina M Garcia

Marina M. Garcia, 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 8, 2011. She was born on March 25, 1917 in Rio Grande City to her parents Maria Del Jesus Pena Martinez and Guadalupe Martinez. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Raul R. Garcia, a son Javier Jaime Garcia, a grandson Javier Jaime Garcia Jr., a daughter-in-law Nelida G. Garcia, a brother Rafael Martinez, a brother Juan Martinez, a sister Sylvia G. Elizondo. She is survived by a daughter Alma G. (Ricardo) Villareal; Houston, three sons Raul H. (Irma) Garcia; San Antonio, Francisco F. (Aurora) Garcia; Corpus Christi, Juan R. (Angelica) Garcia; Falfurrias, a daughter-in-law Oralia Garcia; Corpus Christi, a brother Roberto Martinez; Rio Grande City and a sister Lucinda Clark; Rio Grande City. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, Raul H. Garcia, Jr., Carlos A. Garcia, Selina Garcia; San Antonio, Veronica Heinz; Dallas, Venessa Pumik, Ricardo Villarreal, Jr.: Houston, Francisco F. Garcia, Noe A. Garcia; Corpus Christi, Lorena M. Garcia; Portland, Juan R. Garcia, Jr., Annessa M. Garcia, Jessica M. Salinas; Falfurrias, Michael Garcia and Bryan Garcia Corpus Christi and 20 great grandchildren.

Rosary will be prayed at 7pm Friday, February 11, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Raul Garcia Jr., Carlos Garcia, Albert Garcia, John Garcia, Michael Garcia and Bryan Garcia

Honorary pallbearers will be Francisco Garcia Jr. and Ricardo Villarreal.
