Mario Lamar Villa

Mario Lamar Villa was reunited with his wife, Norma, in Heaven on Friday, January 26, 2018. He passed away at a hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 68. Mario was born on March 5, 1949 to Heriberto Lee Villa and Estephana Villarreal Villa in Falfurrias, Texas. Mario grew up in a family of ten sisters and one brother. He always valued and cherished family and eventually had five children of his own whom he loved unconditionally. His personality was bright and loved to make people smile. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and playing horseshoes.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma P. Villa; sister, Minerva Correa and his brother-in-law, Joe Garcia.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his son, Mario Lamar (Nancy) Villa, Jr.; four daughters, Melissa Munoz, Martha (Felipe Hernandez) Villa, Michelle (Mario Maldonado) Villa and Destiny Caro all of Falfurrias; brother, Lee Villa of Falfurrias; ten sisters, Gloria (Donato) Longoria of Chicago, Grace Garcia of Falfurrias, Linda (Eloy) Moreno of Mission, Texas, Braulia Barrera of Falfurrias, Rosario (Reynaldo) Garza of Falfurrias, Estella (Henry Alvarez) Garza of Kingsville, Texas, Cindy (Armando) Calderon, Margie Calderon, Dolores (Pedro) Soliz and Azalia (Albino) Garcia all of Falfurrias and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

Gratitude is expressed to Mario's care taker and favorite nurse, Kindra Vannest of Falfurrias.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 30, 2018 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 5:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:oo a.m. on January 31, 2018 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Premont. Burial will follow at the Premont Cemetery
