Mom, Tia Adela passed away but I guess you know about it. The whole DeLuna Family is reunited in heaven. We are doing fine but I miss you a lot. Thanks for all the rain you keep sending us. Its been raining since the day you passed on December 5th. All the plants are doing very well. Love you forever. Hope Linda takes care of herself now!

Grandma I hope you and your sister are together in heaven now. I thought of you a lot last night, wondering if you and Tia Adela were laughing together again. I miss you a lot Grandma. Easter wasn't the same.  Love you! Melly

Mike, I hope you are cutting hair, and sewing dresses in heaven.  We all enjoyed a long time with you here in earth, we will see each other again in heaven.  Say hi to Kiko, as I still miss him very much.

Mom, Its been three month and I have tried to keep busy so that I won't mop around the house. I have remodeled three bedrooms and added a sidewalk and a sliding door in our bedroom. I am thinking of upgrading the alarm.  I have all the garden in and growing! I miss you very much and so does Manuel.  
He doesn't want to go outside anymore. Please help me with him. I am doing fine. Miss and love you so much especially the way you made me laugh! Love your daughter Irma Nelda.

Grandma, we miss you.  It has been hard to write down what to say to you.  You were a role model to show us what was right and wrong.  You taught us to follow our heart, but do it the right way.  You were funny and we miss your laugh.

I know I never had the chance to meet Mrs. Longoria and hear her stories on the family, but just wanted to say that I'm proud to be a Longoria because just from my family's story and from hearing Mrs. Cavazos's stories on her mom, I have learned that we are prominent people who were very dignified and had a lot of faith when times got hard. I wish I met you Mrs. Longoria in person, but since I didn't maybe my great-grandmother, Adelaida Longoria would love to hear your life story. May God bless and guide your spirit and protect your family who loves you.

What can I say about my mom? She was strong, religious,strict,funny,intelligent and very independent. She voted, had a drivers license at 16, hunted, drove a tractor, chopped wood, cut hair, sewed and very modern. She read the newspaper everyday after breakfast. It was a privilege to had her in our home for eight years. We adored her and I always took a backseat with 
my family to let her Shine. We all learned that she the queen and we her servants. We love you and miss you already my beautiful Mom.

Grandma it's 12:23am Monday morning, I can't sleep, seeing all the pictures we gathered together brought back so many good memories. We are hoping and wondering if the funeral arrangements we made are just what you would have wanted. We all miss you. Mom cries she knows your with Grandpa but she's missing you in her life. I teach my kids all the things you would try to tell us when we were young...."work hard, be good, always say the truth and give thanks to God," I hope that we have all made you proud of all of us. We loved sharing our lives with you. I'm trying to be strong but it's very hard. I know that right now you are "dancing with the stars". Say hello to Grandpa. Love you very very much.
