Michael Aurelio Avila passed away on August 3, 2026, at his residence in Hebbronville, Texas, at the age of 59. He was born on June 13, 1967 to Ynocencio Amando Avila and Margaret Jean Gore in Harvey, Illinois.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Jean Gore; and brothers, Jimmy Avila, Randy Echard, and Ynocencio Steven Avila.
He is survived by his father, Ynocencio Amando (Norma) Avila of Hebbronville; brother, Anthony "Tony" Echard; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation will start at 5:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville.
