

Nicholas I. Ybarra passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in Victoria, Texas at the age of 16. He was born on February 18, 2000 to Daniel Ybarra, Sr. and JoAnn Ybarra in Corpus Christi, Texas. Nick was currently a student at Victoria West High School. He was a very caring and respectful young man who was witty and had a sarcastic sense of humor. He was always making jokes and thought he was too grown up for his age. Nick loved to play video games as well as hunt and shoot his guns. He loved to play football and his favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He also loved mechanic work and hard labor. He would always describe himself as a boot and camo wearing, truck driving, rebel redneck.
Nicholas is survived by his mother, Joann Ybarra of Victoria; father, Daniel Ybarra, Sr. of Ricardo, Texas; brother, Daniel (Cassidy Witt) Ybarra, Jr. of Victoria; sisters, Amber D. (Patrick Zamora, Jr.) Ybarra and Chloe JD Ybarra both of Victoria; maternal grandparents, Roy Cantu Jr. and Cristela Cantu of Hebbronville, Texas; uncle, Paul Cantu of Hebbronville and nephew, Koleton Brice Zamora of Victoria.
A Rosary will be prayed at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville with a Funeral Blessing to follow at 10:00 a.m.
