Nora Alicia Reyes entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at a nursing home in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 69. She was born on January 24, 1957, to Genaro Cruz Jr. and Consuelo Hinojosa Cruz. Nora worked as a home health provider for many years.
She was a kind and loving individual and loved to share a smile. Nora also loved reading books, especially the bible, listening to music, and going for walks. Throughout her lifetime, she experienced living in several different places in Texas and gained many cherished friendships. She was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she found joy and solace in her faith.
Nora is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jose Roberto Cruz.
She leaves behind her children, Tanialado, Felipita, San Juanita, and Rebecca; brother, Rolando Cruz; sister, Dilma Hernandez; niece, Maria Elena Hernandez; her two aunts, Esmeralda Hinojosa and Edna (Manuel) Aguilar; several extended family members and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Aguilar, Michael Aguilar, Salvador Gonzalez, Dylan Olsen, Hector David Cruz, and Gabriel Rodriguez.
Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias and services will conclude with Burial at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
