One year after graduation on August of 1951 Nori began her lifetime job at the First National Bank until her retirement on December of 2017 after sixty years of service where she became an “institution”. Many customers preferred to have Nori help them with their banking needs. She always gave a helping hand to others. Nori was an active member of the Sacred Heart Church where she participated in the annual Fall Festival, a Catholic Daughter and was in the first group of Sunday collection counters. In the community Nori was a member of the Brooks County Hospital Auxiliary Board, a volunteer at the hospital as a “Pink Lady” and a member of the Falfurrias Chamber of Commerce. Nori traveled extensively always preferring cruises because she was able to enjoy her favorite pastime of gambling. Her other pastime was shopping for clothes and jewelry. She was always elegantly and professionally dressed.
Nori will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
