Octavio Salazar, 90 passed away Monday, November 3, 2010 at a local nursing home. He was born on January 9, 1920 in Randado, TX. to Miguel and Genoveva Flores Salazar. He was a roughneck in the oilfield business. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Adalberto, Tomas, Rafael, Miguel & Horacio Salazar; sister Leonor S. Rios. He is survived by his wife Hermelinda C. Salazar of Roma, TX, brother Lauro (Minnie) Salazar of Hebbronville, TX, sisters Corina S. Gomez and Alicia S. Arredondo both of Hebbronville, TX, numerous nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 starting at 8:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. with a memorial graveside service following at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
