Odeen Rose McDaniel Moreno, age 58, was called home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ, Saturday, May 4, 2024 at her home in Premont, Texas. Odeen was born on May 21, 1965 to Jim and Estelle McDaniel in Victoria, Texas.
She lived her life to the fullest and in everything she believed in. Odeen was very devoted to her family and loved being a wife to her husband Mario, for 40 incredible years, and mother to her two children Mario and Crystal. She loved cooking and listening to music while her husband barbequed. Family time was her favorite time. She cherished them with all her heart and soul, and the love she had for her family was unconditional. Odeen’s favorite saying was “Go big or go home!” and she truly lived by it.
After spending her last moments with her family, she went to her eternal home and is no longer in pain. She is at peace, in the arms of our Heavenly Father, along with all her loved ones that passed before her. She reunited in Heaven with her parents; two sisters, Ronnie Sue Wiley and Rebecca Ann Cooner and her only brother, Warren Clayton “Bubba” McDaniel.
Odeen leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Mario R. Moreno; children, Mario Lynn Moreno and Crystal Rose Moreno all of Premont; step-daughter, Joanna Moreno of Falfurrias, Texas; two sisters, Jimmi McDaniel Price of Canyon Lake, Texas and Mary McDaniel Burttschell of East Bernard, Texas; four step-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at La Gloria Cemetery off FM 1329 in Concepcion, Texas.
