Ofelia H. Garza

Ofelia H. Garza entered into the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at a nursing home in Alice, Texas at the age of 90. She was born on December 14, 1925 in Hebbronville, Texas to Alcario Hernandez and Sara Rubalcabad. She was a housewife who loved to do craft work, watch novelas,and loved the outdoors.

Ofelia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reynaldo Garza; son, Reynaldo Garza, Jr. and numerous brothers and sisters.

She leaves behind to cherish her wonderful memories her son, Daniel Garza of Hebbronville; daughter, Esperanza G. (Horacio P.) Guerra of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister, Lucia Saenz of Corpus Christi; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ashley Thomas Clark, Kelby Guerra, Morgan Guerra, Alysh Mae Bond, Horacio Guerra, III, Pamela Guerra and Thomas Guerra.

Holy rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
