Ofelia J. Lopez

Ofelia J. Lopez, 74, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at her residence in Falfurrias, Texas surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 5, 1940 to Domingo and Maria Jimenez in Falfurrias, Texas. She was a Housewife. Ofelia was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by her father; her granddaughter, Jessica Garcia and son-in-law, Danny Cano. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Domingo Lopez, Sr.; son, Domingo (Sylvia) Lopez, Jr.; four daughters, Lucia (Paz) Longoria, Belinda (Rolando) Robledo, Gloria Cano and Janie (Mario Garcia) Lopez and mother, Maria Jimenez all of Falfurrias. She is also survived by her five brothers, Rodolfo Jimenez of San Antonio, Texas, Joe Jimenez of Houston, Texas, Adan Jimenez of Beeville, Texas, Domingo Jimenez, Jr. and David Jimenez both of Falfurrias; seven sisters, Eva J, Gutierrez and Maria J. Trevino both of Richmond, Texas, Angelica J. Trevino of Rosenberg, Texas, Ofilia J. Chavera, Elena J. Gonzalez, Christelia J. Arevalo and Diana J. Vela all of Falfurrias; 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams with visitation to beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
