

Our beloved mother, Olivia E. Martinez, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the age of 76, in Longview, Texas. She was born on August 14, 1948, in Hebbronville, Texas, to Norberto and Dominga G. Garza.
Our mom, our wela Oli, the woman who managed to overcome so much health-wise without letting it dim her spirit, you were truly one of a kind. WE LOVE YOU MORE.
She was reunited in Heaven with her parents; husband, Roberto Martinez; grandson, Ricardo Javier Martinez; brother, Guadalupe G. Garza; sister, Maria G. Hinojosa; and son-in-law, Roland Gonzalez Jr.
Olivia leaves behind many precious memories that will forever be treasured by her sons: Bobby (Celinda) Martinez and Rene (Priscilla) Martinez both of Rio Grande City, Texas, Rick (Selina) Martinez of Longview, and Roli (Annie) Martinez of Hebbronville; daughters: Monica (Hector Guerra) Gonzalez of Hebbronville and Marissa (Mario Lerma) Martinez of Alice, Texas; siblings: Federico Garza of Killeen, Texas, Bertha Chapa of Bruni, Texas, Margarita Soliz, Luis Garza, and Rosa Trevino all of Hebbronville, Texas; 21 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.
Pallbearers are Rolando Gonzalez III, Odell Gonzalez, Rene Mario Martinez II, Mikey Flores, Estevan Salinas, Saul Salinas Jr., Rolando Martinez II, and Isaac Martinez.
Honorary Pallbearers: Devin Gonzalez, Jaden Gonzalez, Daren Gonzalez, JoRobert Martinez, Robert Matthew Martinez, and Rolando Daniel Lopez.
Granddaughters: Delisa Lopez, Gabriela Gonzalez, Alyssa Martinez, Sarah Martinez, Daniella Martinez, Camila Martinez, Karina Martinez, Melanie Martinez, Breanna Salinas, Sabrina Salinas, and Alissa Martinez.
Great-grandchildren: Nathaniel Gonzalez, Calista Gonzalez, Adrienne Gonzalez, Giana Lopez, Roman Lopez, Rodrigo Lopez, and Mason Morales.
Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. on August 1, 2025, at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville with a Holy Rosary to be prayed at 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville, and services will conclude with Burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
