Omar Hiram Cantu

Omar Hiram Cantu, 20, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 in Webb County. He was born on February 5, 1993 to Orlando Cantu, Sr. and Janie Laurel Cantu in Laredo, Texas. Omar was a 2012 graduate of Bruni High School and was currently working as a Roustabout for Killam Oil Company.

Omar is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Anselmo Laurel. He is survived by his loving parents, Orlando and Janie Cantu, Sr. of Oilton, Texas; brother, Orlando (Marissa Gomez) Cantu, Jr. of Hebbronville, Texas; sister, Clarissa (Jose) Guardian of Hebbronville, Texas, two nieces, Joeleen Cantu and Cailey Guardian; nephew, Jayden Guardian; paternal grandparents, Horacio and Graciela Cantu; maternal grandmother, Hortencia Laurel, girlfriend, Adelina Vasquez; his dog, Megatron and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Burial will follow at the Magnolia Cemetery in Mirando City, Texas.
