Our beloved mother, Oralia R. Alaniz, was welcomed into the gates of Heaven on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at a hospital in Laredo, Texas at the age of 77. She was born on April 6, 1943 to Valentin Ruiz, Sr. and Margarita Gomez Ruiz in Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Saturnino Alaniz; son, Pedro Martin Alaniz; daughter, Araceli Alaniz Jimenez and brothers, Gabriel Ruiz and Gregorio Ruiz.
Oralia leaves behind many fond memories that will be cherished by her two children, Antonio "Tony" Alaniz and Maricela (Mari) Silguero both of Hebbronville, Texas; siblings, Tomas Ruiz and Valentin Ruiz of Hebbronville, Virginia Gomez of San Antonio, Texas and Simon Ruiz of El Paso, Texas; 10 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Pallbearers will be Kristina Silguero, Ashely Nicole Alaniz, Chantel Cerna, David Joe Ramirez, Gregorio Ruiz Jr. and Dusty Ryan Silguero.
Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a Holy Rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville on Friday, December 11, 2020. Graveside Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at New Hebbronville Cemetery.
