Pablo Castañeda Jr.

Pablo Castañeda, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 18, 2015 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 77. He was born on November 29, 1937 to Pablo Castañeda, Sr. and Leonor Suarez Castañeda in Hebbronville, Texas. Pablo retired from Wright Materials where he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for many years.

He was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by his parents; brothers, Armando and Raul Castañeda; sisters, Elida (Edmundo) Robles, Osbelia (David) Garcia and Aurelia (Pedro) Garcia and brother-in-law, Osberto Chapa. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Vicenta Reyna Castañeda of Hebbronville; three sisters, Julia Chapa of Bruni, Texas, Barbarita (Antonio) Lopez and Sylvia (Arnoldo) Gutierrez both of Hebbronville and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Rene Gutierrez, Tomas Ruiz, Juan Pablo Garcia, Bobby Tolentino, Sr., Bobby Tolentino, Jr. and Manuel David Garcia.

A Rosary will be prayed at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with visitation to beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Funeral Mass will be follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Services will conclude with a burial at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
