Pablo Vasquez

Pablo Vasquez, 82, was embraced into the arms of the Lord on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in Hebbronville, Texas. He was born on August 22, 1931 to Faustino Vasquez and Leonor Banda Vasquez in Zapata County, Texas. Pablo worked as a self-employed Painter for many years until his retirement.

He was reunited in Heaven with his parents; his wife Estefana P. Vasquez; grandson, Roberto Rene Lopez, Jr.; brothers, Cirildo, Israel and Benito Vasquez and sisters, Ursula Benavides and Socorro Hernandez.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his two sons, Pablo (Imelda Garza) Vasquez, Jr. and Homero (Melissa) Vasquez both of Hebbronville; three daughters, Noemi (Leonel, Jr.) Cantu of Realitos, Texas, Nancy Vasquez of Hebbronville and Noelia (Homero, Jr.) Contreras of Alice, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Homero Contreras, III, Omar and Odell Cantu, Galo Contreras, David Molina, Homero Vasquez, Jr., Joe Isaac and Johnavan Vasquez.

A Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:30 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville.

Services will conclude with a burial following at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
