Patricia V. Jenkins

She was born on November 22, 1967, in Alice, Texas, to Jose Vela and Elvira Mendez Vela.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Cory Jenkins.

Patricia had a compassionate heart and found great joy in caring for animals. She also treasured every moment spent with her beloved grandson, Corvic, whose laughter and smiles brought her immense happiness. The love she shared with her family, especially her grandson, will be remembered always.

She leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories that will forever be treasured by her loving daughter, Shelby (Jose) Elizalde of Corpus Christi; her brother, Jose Camillo (Diana) Vela of Realitos; her beloved grandson, Corvic Elizalde; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives she touched with her love and kindness.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Patricia’s life during a memorial service on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by the memorial service at 10:30 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville, Texas.

Though she will be deeply missed, Patricia’s love, kindness, and gentle spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
