

Paula G. Perez entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at a hospital in Laredo, Texas, at the age of 80. She was born on January 15, 1946, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Luis Garcia and Eva Maria Espinoza Garcia.
Paula dedicated many years of her life as a compassionate home health provider, working with Texas Home Health, APC Home Health, USA Home Health, and others. Through her work, she touched countless lives with her kindness, patience, and unwavering commitment to caring for others.
She was an extraordinary woman of strong faith, with an open heart and a deep desire to ensure that everyone around her felt cared for and valued. Paula had a gift for connecting with people; she could make friends wherever she went and truly enjoyed conversation and companionship.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, like tending to her garden and flowers. She loved watching her favorite Spanish soap operas, “las novelas,” and admired classic films and the work of John Wayne. Music also held a special place in her heart.
Paula will be especially remembered for her loving traditions. She never missed the opportunity to call her loved ones on their birthdays, joyfully serenading them with “Las Mañanitas.” She also made it a point to bless her family and friends before they departed her presence, a reflection of her deep love, care and faith.
Above all, Paula cherished her family. The time she spent with them brought her immense happiness, and her love for them was constant and unconditional. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion that will live on in all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dionicio Perez; daughters, Dina Trevino and Diana Ramirez; son, Tomas Perez; brothers, Luis, Lucio, and Juan; and her sisters, Francis, Josefina, and Eva.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories her sons, Dionicio (Benessa) Perez Jr. of Hebbronville, Texas and Daniel (Cynthia) Perez of Laredo; daughter, Delgadina Lopez of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister, Gloria (Miguel) Sanchez of Benavides, Texas; 14 grandchildren, Gabriela, Jose, Diana, Dionicio III, Dinelsa, Juan T. Jr, Veronica, Marco, Juan R. Jr., Jomira, Mira, Michaela, Jayden and Carden; 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Pallbearers will be Dionicio Perez Jr., Daniel Perez, Rey Davila, Juan Antonio Ramos Jr., Juan Patricio Trevino Jr. and Jose Ramirez III.
Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville and Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
