Petra E. Hill

Petra E. Hill, 65, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on December 10, 1946 to Genaro S. Escamilla and Refugia Porras Escamilla in Falfurrias, Texas. She was a housewife and also worked as a Home Health Provider. Petra is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Erasmo Escamilla and Edmundo Escamilla. She is survived by her husband Sam D. Hill of Corpus Christi, TX; daughter, Patricia (Carmel) Martinez of Odem, TX; two brothers, Genaro, Jr. (Helen) Escamilla of Pasadena, TX and Eduardo (Mary) Escamilla of Fresno, CA; three sisters, Hilda Lara of Premont, TX, Mary (Jesse) Ortiz of Houston, TX, and Eva (Cesario) Porras of Laredo, TX; four granddaughters, Danae Silva, Emma, Miranda and Madalyn Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias, TX. with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Premont, TX. Burial will follow at the Premont Cemetery.
