Rodolfo Mendoza Ramirez Jr.

Rodolfo Mendoza Ramirez, Jr., resident of Premont, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 74. He was born on November 28, 1945 to Rodolfo Ramirez, Sr. and Natalia Mendoza Ramirez in Falfurrias, Texas. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Rodolfo worked as a Plant Operator with Mobil in La Gloria for many years until his retirement. He was a true outdoorsman who loved to hunt. He was an avid gun collector and for many years coached his son’s little and minor league baseball teams as he grew up.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son, Rodolfo S. Ramirez, III of Corpus Christi; daughter, April (Tomas Suarez) De La Pena of Premont; brother, Richard (Tonie) Ramirez of Falfurrias; sisters, Mary R. Perez of Falfurrias and Carol R. (Gary) McDonagh of Tucson, Arizona; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
