Rogelio Alarcon Sr. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at a Kingsville hospital at the age of 81. He was born on April 13, 1945 to Roberto Alarcon Sr. and Maria Perez Alarcon in Mirando City, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lydia D. Alarcon; siblings, Roberto (Viola) Alarcon Jr. and Olga (Hugh) Wright
Rogelio leaves behind many fond memories that will forever be treasured by his sons, Eduardo "Eddie" (Annabel) Alarcon of Corpus Christi and Rogelio "Roy" Alarcon Jr. of Hebbronville; daughter, Marissa Yvette (Cody) Bier of Denver, CO.; sister, Elena A. (+Juan A.) Guerrero of Hebbronville; grandchildren, Danielle (Armando Jr.) Martinez, Edward Ryan Alarcon, Rebecca L. Alarcon and Deanna (Roman) Alarcon; great grandchildren; Liam Matthew Slator and Lydia Rose Reyes; numerous nieces,nephews and many extended family members and friends.
Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. with visitation starting at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams, Hebbronville. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
