Rosario N. Cadena

Rosario Narvaez Cadena, 76 years of age passed away on August 20, 2011 at her home in Falfurrias, Texas. She was born March 19, 1935 to Basilio and Florinda Narvaez. She is preceded by death by her parents and her sister, Albeza (Eloy) Moreno and son in law Adalberto DeLeon. Rosario was a long time employee of Brooks County Hospital and worked in several medical fields. She is survived by her husband Jose Oziel Cadena and three daughters and one son, Alda (David) Zarate of Falfurrias, TX. Alma Villarreal, Paula De Leon and Joey (Monica) Cadena of Corpus Christi, TX. Survivors also include four sisters Beatriz (Ernesto) Munoz, Gloria (Polo) Carbajal of Falfurrias, TX., Flora Canos of Alice, TX and Nellie Moralez of Metairie, Louisiana; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 4pm August 22, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams, 1208 S. St. Mary's Falfurrias, TX, with rosary to be recited later that evening at 7pm.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am August 23, 2011 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 304 S. Caldwell, Falfurrias, TX. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Falfurrias, TX.

Pallbearers will be Arnaldo Menchaca, Victor Parra, Eddie Carbajal, Jordan Garcia, Danny Villarreal, J.D. Hinojosa, Cameron Cadena and Marco Carbajal
