Ruben Gonzalez, Jr. passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 60. He was born on August 10, 1957 to Ruben Gonzalez, Sr. and Leonarda Garcia Gonzalez in Falfurrias, Texas. Ruben worked for over 20 years as a custodian for Brooks County ISD.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sons, Eddie (Debra) Gonzalez of Falfurrias and Ricco De La Cruz of Premont, Texas; daughter, Marisol (Aaron Rodriguez) Gonzalez of Falfurrias; brother, Ovidio Gonzalez of Falfurrias; sister, Elizabeth (Ricky) Gonzalez of Falfurrias; three grandchildren, Kaya Navarro, Leslie Gonzalez and Abigail Gonzalez and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. with a Holy rosary to be prayed at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams.
Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
