Sigifredo Escobedo

Sigifredo Escobedo, 95 passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 in Laredo. He was a retired US Postal Carrier and a veteran. He was born on May 29, 1916 in Agua Nueva to Eliseo and Jovita Saldana Escobedo. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Angelina H. Escobeo, siblings Francisco Escobedo, Santos Vela Ramirez, Maria De Jesus Gomez, Manuela E. Falcon and Marina E. Perez. He is survived by his son Mario A. (Norma) Escobedo of Hebbronville, daughter Teresa E. (Jesus) Garza of Kingsville and Rosalinda Escobedo of Hebbronville, sisters Francisca E. Gomez and Hulda E. Huerta both of Hebbronville, 5 grandchildren Deanna L. (Rene) Benavides Jr., Daniel R. (Esther) Garza, Joseph D. (Mona) Garza, Mario A. (Vanessa) Escobedo Jr. and Alessandra M. (Amado) Escobedo-Garcia, 16 great grandchildren.

Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm Friday, February 17, 2012 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church

Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rene Benavides Jr., Daniel R. Garza, Joseph D. Garza, Mario A. Escobedo Jr., Amado Garcia V and Cody R. Benavides.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob R. Benavides, Sigifredo Escobedo II, Mario A. Escobedo III, Joseph D. Garza Jr., Eliseo D. Escobedo and Victor A. Escobedo.
