Soila M. Cantu

Soila M. Cantu, 64, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at her residence in El Campo, Texas. She was born on October 23, 1949 in Falfurrias, Texas to Baldemar Moreno and Emma Vecchio Moreno. She was a substitute teacher. Soila is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Baldemar Moreno, Jr. and nephew, Xavier Perez. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Jesus Cantu of El Campo; sons, Joel Noe (Susie) Chavera of Houston, TX and Benito Javier (Cecilia) Chavera of San Diego, CA.; daughter, Jessica Marie Cantu of El Campo; sisters, Diana (Luis) Arevalo of Falfurrias, Imelda (Alejo) Perez of Kingsville, TX and Sylvia (Dario) Garcia of Kingsville; numerous nieces and nephews and her grand-dog, Rocky.

Pallbearers will be J.R. Garcia, Oscar Moreno, Balde Moreno, Marco Cantu, Merced Cantu and Orlando Garcia.

Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias.

Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
