Valentin V. Rangel

Valentin V. Rangel, 86, passed away, Saturday, February 25, 2012 at a hospital in Kingsville, Texas. He was born on March 14, 1925 to Filomeno Rangel and Melchora Valdez Rangel in San Diego, Texas. Valentin is survived by his two sons and daughters in law, Alonzo C. and Luisa Rangel of Falfurrias, Texas and Eloy and Irma Rangel of McAllen, Texas; five daughters and sons in law, Anita and Juan Loera of Falfurrias, Sylvia Rivas and Eloy Mendez of Mission, Texas, Ernestina and Nelson Orona of Columbus, Georgia, Esperanza and Sebastian Ruiz of Falfurrias and Elizabeth Rangel of McAllen, Texas; brother, Filomeno Rangel of Victoria, Texas; 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from at 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Falfurrias.

Burial will take place at the Falfurrias Burial Park at a later date.
