Walter Lamar Storm, 82, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at a nursing home in Plano, Texas. He was born August 6, 1931 to Wash and Virginia Thompson Storm in Premont, Texas. Walter grew up on a farm and was the youngest child of five brothers and one sister. He married his high school sweetheart, Patsy Glick and raised two daughters. He was a successful watermelon farmer who loved his work and also enjoyed watching his plants grow, hunting and boating. He is said to have helped everyone he could and was also known as a prankster who liked to play jokes on people. Walter is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy G. Storm; his daughter, Donna Storm; four brothers and his sister. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shannon and Roy Lettow and their son, Walter’s only grandson, Jordan Lettow all of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Ralph Storm of California and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Premont Cemetery.
