Willie Anita "Ann" Russell

Willie Anita "Ann" Russell passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Corpus Christi, Texas at the age of 84. She was born on April 10, 1931 to Deward Zimmerman and Theresa Walters Zimmerman in Falfurrias, Texas. Anita worked as a Bank Officer at the First National Bank of Falfurrias for over 33 years until her retirement. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James C. Russell. She is survived by her son, James Michael (Catherine) Russell of Corpus Christi; two daughters, Marianne (Stefan) Vogt of Georgetown, Texas and Jeanne (Robert) Pena of Falfurrias; brother, Jerry Zimmerman of Falfurrias; 10 grandchildren, Melissa Ann Vogt, Aaron Vogt, Shawn Vogt, Bobby Pena, Gina Pena, Angela Russell, Carrie Knepper, Johnathan Russell, Tiffany Russell and Matthew Russell and three great-grandchildren, Patrick Vogt, Jennifer Vogt and Fritz Vogt.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2015 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
