Anna Caroline Koza, born on October 14, 1925, in Flint, Michigan, was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was raised in the city she cherished for over 100 years, surrounded by love and family. Anna spent her career years at Hurley Hospital, where she worked diligently in medical billing. Anna was a devoted member of All Saints Parish her whole life until it’s closing in 2016. She was a member of the Rosary Society there and participating in other activities also. Anna graduated from Northern High School and participated in Beta Sigma Phi business sorority. She loved clothes and was always dressed impeccably with matching hats. Anna was generous to many organizations and she received a bounty of address labels, dream catchers, note pads, cards and miscellaneous objects. Her zest for life was evident in her passions for travel, gardening, golfing, skiing, crocheting, playing with her dogs and finding things to collect. She especially loved vacationing in Northern Michigan and exploring various countries, always returning with treats or souvenirs for her many nieces and nephews. One of Anna’s greatest joys was sending notes and cards filled with witty messages and love, making everyone feel special and appreciated.
Anna leaves her youngest sister, Helen Koza and her many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents, John and Sally Koza; her sisters, Emily Pindur and Mary Ann Marzonie; her brothers Adam, Mike, John, Ted, and Leo; sister-in-law Betty Koza; and brothers-in-law, Frank Marzonie and Spud Pindur.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Marty and Nancy from Heart-to-Heart Hospice, along with the caregivers and staff at Living Joy in Flushing, Michigan, for their compassionate care.
