of Flushing, Age 75, passed Friday, November 27, 2015 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Edward was born August 3, 1940 in Alderson, WV, the son of the late Leo and Lela Mae (Meader) Conner. He married JoAnn Dowdy in Clifton Forge, WV on June 12, 1958. Edward proudly served in the US Navy. He worked at Buick, UAW Local 599 for 32 years. He loved sports, especially golf. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, JoAnn. 5 children, Craig Conner, Colleen (Gary) Ballard, Cindy Scott, Crystal (Gordo) Schwab, and Cheryl Long; 9 grandchildren, Gary, Brian, Ashley, Abby, Jake, Vikki, Heather, Tyler, and Conner; 6 Great-grandchildren and 2 Great-great-grandchildren. Siblings, Maureen O'Connor Lite, Leonard, and Kenneth. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers, Thomas, Samuel, and Robert. Cremation has taken place. No memorial service will be held.
