Dear Dad, today we laid you to rest & I hope you are happy in heaven in the glory you deserve, no pain & suffering. It gave my heart great joy to give you a yellow rose, a memory of the yellow roses you have bought me throughout my life. Your yellow Rose of Texas. Going back to the days you were in the Air Force. You will always be our hero & thank you for serving our country.
What a beautiful ceremony, the warm sun shining down on us made me feel like you were there with us. I’m so proud to be your daughter & I thank you for all the love & support you gave me throughout our years together. I am so blessed to have worked with you in the hospital together for a few years before you retired. 
The memories we had together are unforgettable especially when we were little girls & you brought us to the Thanksgiving day parade & Ursula & I took turns sitting on your shoulders so we could see. Also the beautiful vacations & road trips. My favorite was one of our Florida vacations where you dove into the base of an oncoming wave with your glasses on & you came up without them. As I walked through the sand & water I stepped on something hard & grabbed it with my toes & it was your glasses I felt so proud of that moment at age 8 & you were elated I will never forget that day.
Thank you for working so hard so that we could have everything. I am so happy that you were able to be a grandfather to two beautiful angels & being the husband to the most amazing woman I know. 
I will miss the late-night runs for belly boilers or Baskin Robbins (strawberry & pralines & cream for you)
I will always be your ”Ciupek”
Thank you for walking me down the aisle, thank you for sharing my love of gaudy jewelry. I still have the last Valentine’s Day box of candy you bought me. I saved all your voicemails so that I can still hear your voice. 
You were a fighter dad & I am proud to be a part of that.

Today unfortunately I was a part of the Love of my life’s Dad’s(Mr.T) burial today.
Although I only had a short time being a part of his life when he was still active/being able to be drive/care for himself & be involved in family gatherings. I was privileged to be & honored to introduce him as my father in law! Have and will always love you! Promise to take the best care of the rest of your beautiful family that are still here with us until I see you again.

Dear Ted,
I remember the first time we met. It was 2001 and I was nervous meeting my new girlfriend’s Dad. I know I liked you right away and I think you felt the same. We connected right from the beginning. You were funny, intelligent and carried a very easy going way.

I was so impressed by your background. A Fordham alum, Air Force Sergeant, business owner, entrepreneur, licensed pharmacist, father and husband. What a life experience track record! We had many deep conversations over the years. You gave me a lot of advice in the father, husband and business areas. I enjoyed sitting upstairs with you the last few years having these same chats until the girls would be calling me because it was time to go.

We had great times during the holidays. Christmas Eve was special with the traditions that you and Teresa introduced me to that Urs and I practice today. The Easter egg smashing contest! I thought this was awesome right from the first year. I still haven’t learned Polish after all these years. Only the curse words.

The year we went up to Octoberfest at Hunter was epic. You were in your glory with the German food and German beer (you made me drink half the beer and fill the cup with water. Half and half you called it.) Fun times.

I came to Monic’s Halloween party dressed as Elvis. I sat on the couch next to you. We sat and talked for over an hour. You said to me “Are you a friend of one of the girls?” You had no idea it was me. When I told you it was Sean you were blown away. We laughed about that night since.

I will miss you Ted. Mostly our epic conversations. As we lay you to rest tomorrow you can be free and not suffer any more. Your job is down here is done. You can now fill all the prescriptions needed up in heaven. I will promise you this. I will always take care of your and my girls Urs and Brooke. I know Mike will do the same with Monic and Chloe. We will always be there for Teresa in whatever she needs. Say Hi to Dad for me!

My deepest Sympathy to Teresa Ursula Monica and families at this terrible time I have so many great memories of Tony He was the best neighbor anyone could haveThe best memory I have is the morning our house went on fire and Tony came running around with a little fire extinguisher 🧯 in his hand We had many laughs about this after as it wouldn’t have been much good to our fire We also stayed with Tony Teresa and family for almost two weeks after and We cooked in their backyard almost every day They would have done anything for us and I will always cherish these memories Rip Tony and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of his hand

Dear Dad,
I remember the summer Sundays going to Jones Beach. I was in awe of how you would do laps past the breaking waves. Florida vacations with the Reilly's. Every summer in Montauk on the beach, going for ice cream, having dinner at the docks. Cheering for us at the swim meets. When I heard that loud whistle, I knew it was you. The parties at the house for every occasion. All of the times we went to amusement parks-Rye Playland, Adventurer's Inn, Great Adventure & Action Park. Graduation, sweet 16, my surprise 30th, Monica's Halloween parties. I remember when you picked me up on Main Street after I got off the 7 train on 9/11. You hugged me so hard. I felt I was finally safe because I was in your arms. I loved hearing you tell me about the first day you met Mom. You fell for her that moment when she walked into your pharmacy. Your love for cars when you bought your Stingray. When Sean & I were planning our wedding, you said you wanted to dance with me to "Sweet Child of Mine" by Guns N' Roses. What a hit that was that night! Everyone standing around us & singing along. The day Brooke was born-you were holding her like you held me-like a football. When I was home w/ her, you came over & brought me whatever I needed because Sean had to go to work. When I dropped her off to you & Mom to watch her-you had the day planned-walking up to Carvel, walking around Holy Cross & showing her the football guys practicing, like you used to do. Thank God I found your cell phone the other day. The countless videos & pictures of holidays, parties & everyday stuff-listening to you narrate. 
I would not be the wife, mother & friend I am today if it weren't for you. Your big heart & generous nature affected everyone who knew you. I know you're free from all of your health issues. I know you're surrounded by loved ones. I know you're looking down & smiling, forever keeping watch over us. This sorrow I feel is crippling but I know where it's coming from. I miss you, I love you. Halloween parties were always a great time for John and Ted as we would always find them deep in conversation  about cars.  A passion they both shared.. Ted will be missed but never forgotten.
