Alyce Josephine Vainisi-Cardenas, age 82, of Elmhurst, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2025, surrounded by her family that she loved dearly. She was born on September 7, 1942, in Chicago, daughter of the late Anthony & Theresa Vainisi.
Alyce passed down a legacy of love through her five children, Theresa Chipain, Sheila (Luis) Nieves, Santa Ledone, Spyros (Laura) Fetsis & Toni (Jeff) Rumping. She was also the most adoring Grandma of Amethyst, Francesca, Antonio, Samantha, Maleyx, Mason, Sophia & Grayson. Alyce was preceded in death by her sister Marie Polinski and cherished her nieces and nephews, Natalie, Ralph, Anthony & Maria.
As per Alyce’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. The family asks for everyone to remember Alyce fondly and to send prayers of peace to all who loved her.
