Mom, I love you and I miss you, but I’m comforted to know you’re no longer in pain.  Till we meet again.  Rest In Peace, beautiful soul.  

I remember when I was a young girl and the family gatherings that we would have. Our Saturday visits that would go all the way to the next day.  The grownups in the kitchen or dining room playing their Paco game and how I use to love watching them play.  The awesome peanut butter and jelly sandwiches my Tia use to make...so good.  So many awesome  memories and it’s like a reminder of how we should always remember to cherish our family and enjoy the moments we have together. May Tía Rest In Peace and May God give her loved ones the strength to move forward with love and unity.

My deepest condolences to the family of Amparo especially her children.  Laura and I met at Robert Morris College and she shared  the wonderful memories of growing up so much that I felt like I knew everyone when we met for the first time.  You are a wonderful family.  Always lean on each other, never take each other for granted.  That's all we really have in the crazy world is our family.  May she rest in peace forever with the angels.  Love to you, Laura

I spent a lot of my childhood exploring the city with my Aunt Amparo. We went to the beach, the downtown stores and all over the Gold Coast where she worked. I was her interpreter in buses and stores. Of course me speaking English and her Spanish, people thought we were joking. I always stole the hominy out of the soup before it made it home to my dad, you remain in my heart forever

I can never forget my Tia. Every time I saw her she reminded me of the day I first saw her after she arrived in Chicago. She was so happy to finally get to see her brothers and their families she cried every time any of us walked into the room. I met her for the first time and I was amazed at the fact that I could feel the Love coming out her. I am content to know that she will not be alone and she will be pain free.
