Anita J. Kucera, nee Lombardi, age 79, a longtime resident of Berwyn, Ilinois passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Kucera, Jr. Dear daughter of the late Frederick and Vlasta Lombardi. Loving mother of Michelle (John) Kubicki, Deborah (Salvatore) Kucera - Bruno, and Michael (Kristin Goss) Kucera. Cherished grandmother of Allison, John, and Joshua. Dear sister of Kathryn (the late Roy) Wake. Many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Anita was the District Administrator for the North Berwyn School District for over 25 years, and a longtime member of the North Berwyn Educational Foundation after her retirement.
A visitation for Anita will be held Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois. Funeral services are Friday, January 7, 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
